Shelly Dimmer Gen4

What it’s for: smooth dimming from your existing retractive switches. The Shelly Dimmer Gen4 sits behind a retractive (push-to-make) switch and adds smart, flicker-free trailing-edge dimming to your lighting circuit — press for on/off, hold to dim. Everything also works from the app, by voice, or on a schedule.

Crucially for UK homes, it does not require a neutral wire — it can be retrofitted into most existing switch back-boxes (loads from 20 W without neutral, or use a bypass for smaller loads). Trailing-edge dimming suits modern dimmable LEDs, and built-in voltage and current metering keep an eye on the circuit.
