What it’s for: power monitoring and 1-channel control. The Shelly 1PM Gen4 makes any single circuit smart — lights, heating, a fan, an immersion heater — and tells you exactly how much energy it uses. It hides behind your existing switch or socket in a standard wall box, so your switches look exactly the same but gain app, voice and automation control.

Gen4 brings multi-protocol connectivity: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth and Zigbee in one device, with native Matter compatibility — so it works with practically every smart-home platform, locally or in the cloud, and no hub is required. Built-in voltage, current and power metering let you track consumption per circuit in the Shelly app, and 20 schedules, scenes, scripting and MQTT cover everything from simple timers to full automation.
