Hippo PCB Connector — 120 LED/m IP20 Strip

What it’s for: powering our 120 LED/m IP20 strip — no soldering. A Hippo-M buckle connector that clamps straight onto the strip’s 10mm PCB solder pads for a clean, solder-free connection. Cut the strip on the cut line, feed in your cable, snap the buckle shut — the clamp bites through to the strip’s pads and through the cable’s insulation in one action, with no iron, no flux and no soldering skills needed.

It fits any 10mm-wide 2-pin single-colour IP20 strip (5050, 2835 and high-density types included), and is the purpose-matched connector for our 120 LED/m reel.

No cable is included: you fit your own 2-core cable — and there’s no need to strip it. Feed the cable in as it comes and the clamp pierces the insulation to make contact as it closes. Use AWG22–18 (0.34–0.82mm²) cable — our 50m drum of Time 2192Y 2-core flex is a perfect match. The buckle is one-time-use: once snapped shut it stays shut, so position it before you clamp.
