COB Warm White LED Strip 5m — 480 Chips/m IP20

COB strip does away with visible dots. A continuous band of phosphor across 480 chips per metre reads as one unbroken line of light rather than a row of LEDs — which is why it has become the default for open coves, shelf edges and any detail where the strip is glimpsed directly rather than only its reflection.

At 3000K and CRI90 it renders warm materials — oak, brass, terracotta — the way the eye expects them, and 1060 lumens per metre from 12 W/m keeps a full 5-metre reel under 60 W.

Built to the manufacturer's premium COB specification: a continuous chip-on-board emitter under a premium milky bounding wall that diffuses the light at source, carried on an 8 mm heavy-copper PCB — the thick copper is what holds voltage and brightness even from one end of the reel to the other. A purpose-designed protective structure gives it genuine bend resistance, so it takes being worked round a corner on site, and because the diffusion happens at the strip it needs far less depth behind a profile lens than a discrete-LED reel before the run looks even.
