Lithe Audio 270 Fire & Acoustic Speaker Hood

The Lithe Audio 270 Fire & Acoustic Speaker Hood maintains the fire protection integrity of your ceiling when a ceiling speaker is installed, helping the installation comply with UK Building Regulations. It simply sits over the back of the speaker inside the ceiling void.

Beyond fire protection, the hood carries an acoustic rating that reduces sound transfer into the rooms above and adjacent — and, like all speaker hoods, it improves the bass performance of open-backed in-ceiling speakers by giving them a consistent enclosure. Suitable for 6–7″ driver speakers with a cut-out diameter of 190–240 mm, including our Paradigm CI Contractor C65-R ceiling speakers.
